Yamaha Fazer in India

On July 6, 2009, Yamaha launched a new bike under its Fazer series, the 153cc Yamaha Fazer, in India. On the same day, the company also inaugurated its latest manufacturing facility at Surajpur in UP. Yukimine Tsuji, CEO and MD, Yamaha Motor India, said that the new manufacturing plant has the capacity to produce 600,000 motorcycles including Fazer and other models.

The  Yamaha Fazer has been launched in india now. The ex-showroom Delhi price of the 153 cc Fazer is Rs. 72,000. The Fazer will be manufactured at surajpur and expected to roll out 6 lakh bikes per year. 

The Fazer has Monocross suspension and ‘MidShip Muffler’.

The plant can further produce 1 million units if necessary. Already Yamaha has YZF-R15, FZ-16 and FZ-S under its Fazer series. The new Yamaha Fazer comes in “triple macho design” and high performance.

Yahama Fazer 250 cc – Yamaha Fazer launched in India After huge success of Yamaha FZ16, Yamaha YZF R15 and Yamaha FZS, Yamaha launched its global model Yamaha Fazer in Indian market.

Yamaha Fazer is the third bike from Yamaha product portfolio that is build on its popular model Yamaha FZ16 platform. Yamaha Fazer is equipped with a 153cc engine that produces 14PS of maximum power at 7500rpm and 14Nm of maximum torque at 6500rpm.

The Yamaha Fazer comes with the bigger rear tyre of 140-60 with 17″ alloy wheels. Yamaha Fazer is available at Rs 72,000 (as ex-showroom prices in New Delhi).

Yamaha Fazer is available with four exciting colours that are blue, black, red and orange.
