Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examamination is conducted by Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) situated in Vellore, Tamil nadu each year for the students aspiring for B.Tech and B.E courses.
Eligibility criteria :
1. The candidate must have passed class 12th examination with a minimum aggregate of 60% in PCM or PCB whatever the case may be.
2. For the candidates belonging to SC/ST categories and other reserved categories, the minimum aggregate in PCM/PCB is 50%.
3. The candidates having PCB are eligible only for B.Tech. Bioinformatics & Biotechnology courses.
