Maharashtra 6th Pay Commission Maharshtra to implement 6th Pay commission report
The Maharashtra Government has decided to implement the recommendations of the Sixth Pay Commission that will benefit around 13 lakh state government employees. After implementing the 6th pay commissionrecommendations for MaharashtraThe, the state government will bear an additional burden of Rs 8.091 cr.
The Maharashtra CM Ashok Chavan announced to implement the recommendations of the Sixth Pay Commission immediately. Pensioners will also get the benefit of the pay revision. It is estimated that the state government has to pay Rs 18,370 crore towards the arrears of the pay revision.
After the implementation, the employees of Maharashtra government will get an average hike of 20-30 per cent.
“The financial implications in 2008-09 because of the implementation would be around Rs 15700 crore from the central budget and Rs 6400 crore on the budget of railways,” expenditure secretary Sushma Nath said. These figures do not account for 60% of arrears to be paid during the next year.
As per the sixth Pay Commission recommendations , the hike will be implemented by the Maharashtra government from January 1, 2006, the employees will get huge amount of arrears. The arrears will be paid to the employees in installments over the next 5 years.
Cabinet approves pay commission report
Arrears will be paid in cash in two instalments, 40 per cent will be paid this year and the rest next year.
Now, minimum basic pay of a government employee has been raised to Rs 7000.

i am lecturere in Jr. college and now my basic 12125. previously my slab was 8000-275-13500 and 0n 1st.jan.06 my basic was 11300. Sir i am from maharashtra residence in Pune HRA is 15%.plz give the details of payment & arrears up to now.

Sir please discribe the maharashtra state school teachers pay scale or salary i.e. Shikshan sevak from 2008-09 give me all details , service rules, agreement terms & conditions, If any employee left without any notice or resignation what can any school do any legal action against that teacher as per agreement. please give us suggessions as early as possible.

I am a Full Time Instructor in Govt. Jr. college for Bi-focal. So please say me my Basic pay & Grade pay. My joining month is july 2009
