Google Internet Bus in India to widespread Internet Knowledge

The bus has Internet connectivity using satellite, a spokeswoman for Google India said.
At stops, the bus will provide local people with content in English and the local language Tamil, which will give them an understanding of how the Internet can be used to meet their needs, Google said.
People will be shown videos of how a variety of people including grandparents, small entrepreneurs, and students are already using the Internet to their benefit, it added.
The bus has four booths focussing on different uses of the Internet: information, communication, education and entertainment. There are also videos providing simple explanations on how to use the Internet.
I personally think this is really a good move from the Google on the philanthrophic side and to get more people use Google. Still today, the most people and potential is in Rural India.
Attracting them and helping them to address their needs sounds a good approach, but what they need at the moment of the hour is not Internet but food, shelter and clothes. I should say Google should have been pro-active in providing them means of earning through them. That would have been a one way to say.
I guess I am being loud but understanding the primary need of the rural India is not bestowed in making them use Internet but making them understand in how best they can catapult the Rural India back onto wheels like agricultural and farming needs, Schooling, Education, Housing, Social Awareness. I hope Internet life can bring some notion to them as well.
